The 3rd grade is studying landscapes. Mr. Popek's class started their artwork today. We looked at many landscapes, especially Steve Gordon our very own Alaskan artist. The kids were impressed by his art and we saw a few that we suspected were in Kincaid park. Today was just a little art appreciation, sketching the landscape and than tracing with glue. Next time the kids come to art we will color them in with chalk pastels, I expect they will be gorgeous.
