The 6th grade has been working on one point perspective drawings.  The students looked at lots of examples of one point perspective and discussed horizon line, vanishing point, background, foreground and middle ground.  Drawing turned out to be the easy part! The painting took a long time due to the many, many details students added.  In the end they do look pretty amazing, I'd say especially because with the exception of true red, black and white they had to mix all their own colors. If you'd like to see them for yourself they should be hanging in the hallway this week!
