Mrs. Campbell's class and Ms. Rose's first graders have been hard at work for the last two weeks. The first week we discussed warm and cool color families and the kids painted two giant papers accordingly. We discussed lines and line designs and added those to the giant painted papers with white oil pastels. The next week we viewed Pablo Picasso's Cubist period artwork with musical instruments in it, the kids actually liked his work! They spent the rest of the hour collaging and than rocked out!
