6th graders have been studying figure drawing, in particular gesture drawing. The kids had a fun time trying to capture the shape of the human body in about 30 seconds. Each model struck a pose on the table and the rest of the class drew what they saw. The artwork started out a bit rough but by the end of class, 60 minutes later, it was looking pretty sharp.
