Mrs. Story's 2nd graders made wonderful art today! The kids looked at slides of Wassily Kandinsky and learned about Abstract art. We talked about shape and line and took turns observing these principals of art in Kandinsky's paintings. The kids created stencils for different shapes and than worked on their expressive brush strokes.
