Kincaid Elementary is lucky to be very, very involved in Anchorage's Youth Art Month. This year our school is represented by four entire classes and 4 individuals:
- Mr. Cave's 5th graders made painted paper for a border that will run the length of the atrium the museum.
- Mr. Kach's 6th graders cut letters from this painted paper to glue to the border.
- Mrs. DeWall's 4th grade and Mrs. Neff's 3/4th combo class made beautiful positive and negative leaf prints that will be on a banner hanging from the second story in the atrium, the banner is 11ft long and 8 foot wide, you won't miss our incredible work.
And finally not least or last, there are four individuals who have been selected to represent our school during Youth Art Month. Congratulations to the student's below who were chosen because of their effort and participation in art class, their artwork makes me very, very proud.
